A popular Italian Scottsdale restaurant has permanently closed its doors. Pubblico Italian Eatery served its last dinner on Monday, after only 6 years of operation. The closure was announced through the company’s OpenTable page.
Pubblico Italian Eatery Shuts Down Permanently
A family-owned Italian restaurant, Pubblico Italian Eatery was located at 7001 N. Scottsdale Rd., Suite# 184, Scottsdale.
The team posted on OpenTable, “valued guests and community.” The team shared that due to unforeseen circumstances, the restaurant was unable to sustain its operation.
The team thanked the community for their support and said, “Thank you for the years of patronage, your support, and for allowing us to share so many meals and memories with you. Serving this community has been a privilege, and we will miss you all dearly.”
The team also directed customers to Carbon Mexican Eatery at 7704 E Doubletree Ranch Road, Suite 115, in Scottsdale.
According to a Mouth by Southwest news report, the original location, which opened in Phoenix in 2018, also closed in 2024. Along with that, Quinn and Garcia’s Rockefeller seafood restaurant also closed its doors in 2024 after only two years of service.
About the Restaurant
Pubblico Italian Eatery was owned by Danny Quinn and Chef Danny Garcia. The restaurant served house-made pasta, wood-fired pizzas, and Italian desserts.
Its menu featured traditional and contemporary Italian dishes, including pasta, pizza, and desserts. It built a strong following in the community and became a go-to place for date nights, celebrations, and weekend dinners.
The OpenTable page of the restaurant mentioned that “with a cozy yet lively atmosphere, an Italian-forward wine list, and exceptional service,” made it a dining gem in the community.
The Scottsdale closure ends Pubblico Italian Eatery’s six-year run at the Seville Shopping Center, while its ownership group continues to operate other concepts in the area.
