By the end of this year, Arizona will be rolling in fresh, fried deliciousness thanks to a new franchise called Roll-Em-Up Taquitos. The first two locations are planned for 15570 W. McDowell Road in Goodyear and the southeast corner of 90th Street and Horseshoe Road in Scottsdale. Representatives for Roll-Em-Up Taquitos tell What Now Phoenix that both restaurants anticipate a December 2022 opening.
The brand recently announced six new agreements to begin expansion in the southwest United States, with locations across Southern California and Arizona. Roll-Em-Up Taquitos expects to open 20 new stores through the end of 2022, on top of over 450 locations in various stages of development across the nation.
“Announcing Roll-Em-Up Taquitos’ franchise opportunity was a big deal for our brand, and we are so excited to continue moving forward with our growth through these recently signed leases,” Roll-Em-Up Taquitos CEO Ryan Usrey said in a press release. Ursey and his father Ron started the business in honor of Mama Karen, whose famous hand-rolled beef taquitos sparked the idea for a taquito-focused restaurant.
To this day, all taquitos are made with fresh, never frozen ingredients, hand-rolled daily and pan-fried to order. In addition to beef, they offer chicken, potato, cheese and avocado, plus a variety of sides. Visit rollemup.com for more information.
