A shop called Smoothie Vortex is coming soon to 4636 N. 7th Ave. in Uptown Phoenix, according to a recent city building permit filing. The permit, requested by inspection, notes that the 480 square-foot shop was outfitted with new electrical and plumbing. Based on this information, it’s likely that Smoothie Vortex will be ready to open by early 2022, if not late this year.
Smoothie Vortex is taking over what was formerly Black Lantern Tattoo. The space is certain to see a huge makeover considering the new tenants. Based on Smoothie Vortex’s website and Instagram, we might expect desert vibes inspired by the Sedona vortexes.
But more than how the shop will look, we are interested to see what delicious sips Smoothie Vortex will be blending up when they finally open. The owners were contacted but have not yet responded to What Now Phoenix’s inquiries at the time of publication.
