Sogno Toscano, a wine bar and cafe known for its imported Italian ingredients, is opening a new location at 3950 E. Indian School Road in Phoenix.

The new cafe will serve coffee, wine, brunch, and dinner, as well as offer imported Italian food products for purchase, according to AZ Central. Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Tempe, Sogno Toscano is primarily a wholesale company supplying restaurants across the U.S. with authentic Italian olive oil, cheese, meat, pasta, and more. The company first opened its cafe concept in New York City in 2021 and has since expanded to four locations in New York and California. The new Phoenix cafe is expected to open in Winter 2025, although an official opening date has not been announced.

When this location opens, customers can expect a full espresso menu, along with a brunch offering that includes pastries, smoked salmon tartines, omelets, and Tuscan-style sandwiches called schiacciate. Dinner will feature fresh pasta flown weekly from Italy, with dishes such as beef and pork-stuffed tortellini and pasta dressed in pesto or black truffle. The wine bar will offer more than 30 wines, mainly from Tuscany, as well as selections from other Italian regions.

“You’ll be able to shop for a little burrata that flew from Italy a couple of days before and a pound of prosciutto if you want that,” co-founder Pietro Brembilla tells AZ Central. “Or you can stay and enjoy your afternoon with friends and have a bottle of, I don’t know, Sassicaia or whatever wine from Tuscany and have your night that way.”

Sogno Toscano’s roots in metro Phoenix run deep, with Brembilla sharing fond memories of summers spent horseback riding near Scottsdale. The new Arcadia Place location will bring a unique blend of authentic Italian flavors and a wine bar experience to the local dining scene.
