There are most likely a copious amount of Subway locations in the Valley. Statistics show that Phoenix alone boasts 72 stores, ranking in the top 10 cities with the most Subways in the U.S. But for a restaurant chain as robust as Subway, we guess it couldn’t hurt to add two more locations to the roster.

What Now Phoenix has obtained real estate intel revealing that a Subway store has secured a 1,400 square-foot restaurant space in the Fry’s Food & Drug Plaza at 550 W. Baseline Road in Mesa. Meanwhile, a commercial space at 18631 N. 19th Ave. in Phoenix will be demolished and remodeled for an incoming Subway, according to a permit found in city public records.

Based on the timing of these sources, these Subways would likely open in the latter half of this year. Representatives for Subway have been contacted, but haven’t returned requests for comment by the time of publication.

In any case, there will always be somewhere in the Valley where you can go to “eat fresh.” For more information, visit Subway’s website
