Sunshine Breakfast Bar, a delicious breakfast specialist located on Cave Creek Road, is preparing to open a new location in Tempe at 788 East Baseline Road.
The company’s second location will take over the former home of Flo’s near the College Park Shopping Center, according to a recent liquor license application. The new Sunshine Breakfast Bar has been announced on the company’s social media, saying the new location will open in September 2025. When this new location opens, customers can expect a familiar, comfort-focused menu built around creative pancakes, hearty breakfast plates, and house-made specialties served daily from morning through early afternoon.
Pancake lovers will find no shortage of options at Sunshine Breakfast Bar. From the delicious Banana Pecan Caramel Pancakes to the refreshing Lemon Ricotta Pancakes topped with lemon curd and whipped cream, there’s a stack for every taste. Sweet cream pancakes serve as the base for many of their specialties, such as Strawberry Shortcake Pancakes, filled with fresh strawberries and a vanilla glaze, or the rich Blueberry Danish Pancakes, stuffed with cream cheese and wild blueberries.
Those craving a savory start can opt for the All-American Breakfast or a classic Breakfast Croissant Sandwich made with eggs, cheddar, and a choice of bacon, ham, or sausage. Hearty dishes like Chicken Fried Steak, Huevos Rancheros, and a loaded Breakfast Burrito round out the menu. Lighter options, such as the Protein Power Breakfast with cottage cheese and sliced tomatoes, offer balance for health-conscious diners. With bold flavors and generous portions, the new Tempe location promises to bring the same breakfast energy that made the Cave Creek original a local favorite.
“BUTTER BELIEVE IT… WE’RE CRACKING INTO A NEW ZIP CODE!!!” according to the company’s website. “A second helping of your favorite Breakfast Bar is coming this September to Tempe. Same love, same fun, same sunshine.”
