It seems only yesterday Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant opened its second Arizona location at 3325 W. Chandler Blvd. in Chandler. Well okay, it was basically yesterday. The award-winning Illinois-based winery opened its doors on September 27th, as promised. And as we all know, when one door opens…another one enters the planning stages.

According to Mouth by Southwest, Cooper’s Hawk will deliver a third winery and restaurant to the area, this time in Gilbert. The media outlet reports the winery “will build its third Valley location just north of the recently opened North Italia and Flower Child on the northwest corner of Santan Village Parkway and Williams Field in Gilbert.”

We were unable to reach CEO Tim McEnery or Chief Restaurant Officer Beth Scott for comment at the time of publication, so the opening timeline for this location remains unclear.

If you haven’t made it out to either the Scottsdale or Chandler locations of the winery, you should probably set aside a day soon. Cooper’s Hawk is based in Woodridge, Illinois where it imports grapes from California and Oregon as well as Chile, Argentina, Australia, and Italy. The winery has a substantial wine program that it pairs with a menu created by Executive Chef Matt McMillin. Bites like Pan Roasted Barramundi, Shrimp and Scallop Risotto, and Asian Pork Belly Tostadas are some favorites.
