According to a recent permit filing, AJ’s Bar Cart will be coming to the Boise area, located at 3625 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd.
“I’m still working on getting all of my ducks in a row, but I hope to get AJ’s up and running by the end of January. It will be open seven days a week and will be located in the MLK Street Food cart pod.”
“I’m hoping to serve beer, wine, and cocktails, but I’m still working with the OLCC on that,” owner Alec Perkins told What Now Portland.
AJ’s Bar Cart’s permit filing lists that the hours will be 10 AM to 12 AM, with seasonal variation. A note on the permit filing additionally states that standard hours will be from noon to 10 PM.
According to MLK Street Food’s website, “MLK Street Food is a food cart pod perfectly nestled between the Alameda, Irvington, and Boise neighborhoods in Northeast Portland. Here you can taste various local cuisines and enjoy the good vibes in the central pavilion.”
The website states that they are coming soon, as well as the vendor list. “We are excited to highlight the various local food cart operators at our location!” When looking at their Instagram posts, an additional vendor would be Gyro Land.
