According to a recent permit filing, Backpacker Pizza will soon debut in Camas at 421 NE Cedar Street.

A representative of Backpacker Pizza was not immediately available to comment upon What Now Portland’s request.

According to a recent Instagram post from Backpacker Pizza, “We are excited to announce our family-owned and operated pizza shop featuring locally sourced ingredients and a selection of our favorite beverages we’ve discovered through our travels – Opening Fall 2024.”

Another Instagram post with Backpacker Pizza highlights the ongoing construction of the space. “Little by little we’re chipping away at the space. Paint, shiny kitchen toys, and some hard work will have us up and operational in no time! Keep an eye out both online and in person for our initial menu that we will be posting soon!”

For the property itself, according to Loop Net, “The building consists of 5,000 square feet of above-grade retail space. Built in 1928, the building is situated on a 5,500-square-foot parcel of land zoned Downtown Commercial (DC).”

“The Attic Gallery occupies Suite 419 and is a well-established fine art gallery, operating since 1973. Backpacker Pizza, a new pizza restaurant, occupies Suite 421.”
