The cafe serving boba tea, mochi donuts and K-dogs will continue expansion in 2026.

Bridgetown Bites reported Bobadochi is coming to a new storefront at 2017 NE Alberta Street. The Oregon-based company opened their first location in Salem last year. The new cafe will open sometime in January or February.

Co-owner Sunny Burden also opened Sunny’s Diner at 9993 SE 82nd Avenue in Happy Valley. At the diner, she serves up fresh-made breakfast and lunch items like French toast, homestyle hash browns and corned beef hash. When What Now Portland reached out to owner Sunny Burden, she was not available for comment.

Their boba tea drinks are one of main draws to the business, with boba flavors including brown sugar, strawberry and ube. Jelly can be added onto the drinks, and sweetness levels are customizable. Their full menus by location are available on their website.

Bobadochi’s new cafe will be on the north side of NE Alberta Street on the same block as Bollywood Theater. From the most recent construction update on Facebook, the inside is being designed, and soon seating and equipment will be installed. The walls are to be partially pink, keeping with the Bobadochi aesthetic.

After opening on Lancaster Drive in Salem last year, the company opened a location in Tigard on Hazel Fern Road. Additional cafes are planned for Beaverton, Washington Square and Woodburn.
