Cookie McCakeface, the giant cookie cart known for its 6.5-ounce, soft-baked treats at 4727 SE Woodstock Blvd, is expanding into a new commercial kitchen space, according to a post from their Instagram page. Owner Sarah Ahlvers, hasn’t announced publicly the exact address of the new space yet, but she confirmed the cart itself isn’t moving, production is simply shifting from the cart to the new kitchen to allow for bigger batch sizes.

Most notably for regular customers, Ahlvers is planning to add a walk-up window in the future at the new commercial kitchen, meaning people will actually be able to buy cookies and other baked goods directly on-site, not just through the original cart or wholesale channels. She described it as a way for customers to grab a cake slice on their way to work and a cookie on the way home.

Ahlvers described the move as a six-year dream finally coming together, wanting both a cute cookie cart and a commercial kitchen space that could support more than just cookies. The new facility will let her roll out a more robust pastry menu aimed at wholesale customers, cafe owners looking to supplement their own pastry cases, along with cakes, cheesecakes, pies and breads. She said she’s hoping to hit the ground running in October with wholesale options, with shipping expected to follow in early 2027.

Cookie McCakeface has built a strong community since opening six years ago, drawing repeat customers and glowing reviews for its thick, gooey cookies with a crisp, well-baked exterior, alongside gluten-free and vegan options.
