Crosscut Warming Hut No. 4 is opening in Sisters this November, bringing the Bend craft beer taproom to Central Oregon’s Sisters community. The new location owned by Bob Libby will be at 700 W. Canopy Way, in the Sisters Woodlands development.

The Sisters location is the second for Crosscut, which also operates Warming Hut No. 5 in Bend’s Old Mill District. The concept is the same: great beer, a welcoming crowd and good food. Instead of the food carts used in Bend, the Sisters building will have three commercial kitchen suites that food businesses can lease. The owners are accepting proposals for the kitchen spaces.

Crosscut describes its taprooms as a blend of a classic mountain tap house with the history of the Old Mill. The menu celebrates craft beverages, including beer, wine, cider and whiskey. The Bend location, at 566 SW Mill View Way, is open daily from noon, and its food cart lineup includes Abe Capanna’s, which serves Detroit-style pan pizza and Italian food, Alebrije Oaxaca, with Oaxacan dishes, and On A Wing & A Crepe, which serves wings and crepes.

The Sisters taproom will also host private events, and the company has said it will hire beertenders and baristas. Dogs will be allowed on the patio and garden areas at the Bend location.
