An Old Portland coffee staple has not left for long.

Deadstock Coffee is getting new life with a new location opening inside The Hoxton hotel, 15 NW 4th Avenue. Like the previous shop, it will be themed to sneakers. According to owner Ian Williams, they are hoping to open sometime in March.

The first coffee shop opened in 2016 at 408 NW Couch Street, serving brews like espressos and iced lattes. Merch is also sold on their website, including crew jackets and cargo pants. Williams said there will be some new menu items being announced in the coming weeks.

Williams also has a location at 12305 SW Broadway Street in Beaverton that opened in fall 2024. In a recent post, Williams explained that the previous Deadstock location closed on Dec. 31, and they are now coming back with old baristas. This marks the second expansion project from the company.

“Sometimes, good things come to an end,” said the post.

What Now Portland previously reported on the owners of Boan Kainan Filipino food cart opening a new restaurant called Pamana at The Hoxton. That location is now open, and the hotel also has a rooftop restaurant and bar called Tope.
