The food truck plaza will soon have a space designed for visitors to enjoy all year long.
The Coburg Greenhouse at 91070 N Willamette Street will undergo major changes including a new unannounced tenant coming to the space. Along with a new business, two indoor kitchens and indoor seating for 50 people are being added. The operators will be breaking ground on Jan. 1 next year.
Currently, Bao Thai, The Beer Shed, Pete’s Meats and Pupusa Time operate at the food cart plaza. In the announcement, Chef Lino’s Cuisine and Catering will be moving into the new building. The business sells Southwest and Latin American cuisine like the Cubano sandwich and caprese pesto salad.
“We’ll be breaking ground right after the first of the year, and if all goes as planned, we’ll be opening the doors to the new and improved Greenhouse next summer!” Says the post. Eventually, the owners want to have a full-service bar operating as well.
The Coburg Greenhouse is near the intersection of N Willamette Street and E Pearl Street, close to Blue Valley Bistro. As of now, the food truck plaza is open and their hours remain the same.
What Now Portland has reached out to owner Alan Wells and is awaiting comment. More information on The Coburg Greenhouse can be found on their website.
