Authentic Filipino cuisine will soon be served from a food truck.

It was initially announced in an Aug. 4 Instagram post that Filipino Soul would be opening in Vancouver, Washington. Right now, this will be a food truck traveling around the city, and surrounding areas like Camas and Portland. It is set to open in about six months.

“Authentic Filipino flavors are rolling in,” says the Instagram post.

There is not yet information on the business listed on their website, other than the restaurant is “launching soon.” Since the announcement, Filipino Soul has been advertising their prepared dishes including lumpia rolls, fried chicken, stir-fried noodles, and red brands and rice.

The registered agent for the project is Renerose Hinkle. She told What Now Portland the business does not currently have an address. This is due to the high demand of restaurant spaces that are in “short supply.”

Hinkle is starting the business with her family and is hoping to share it with the community soon. According to a recent post, the family initially served dishes like lumpia rolls as backyard meals, and she was inspired to showcase Filipino cuisine to the area. There will be takeout options available at the start.
