Visitors at the Bridgeport Village outdoor mall will be able to dine at a new Brazilian spot by this winter.
It is being reported that Fogo de Chao is coming to 17015 SW 72nd Avenue at the mall in Tigard. This marks the company’s second Oregon location as there is a Fogo de Chao in downtown Portland at 930 SW 6th Avenue. It is coming at the end of the year with no set opening date.
The restaurant which has over 70 locations across the world is known for “Churrasco-style meats” which are Brazilian style grilled meats. Along with their Brazilian meat cuts, locations have the Market Table concept, a spread of flavors from Brazilian farms. Salads, black bean stews, smoked salmon and soups with fresh ingredients are also offered.
The lease agreement was just recently signed for the Bridgeport Village spot. In an article from Yahoo Finance, CEO Barry McGowan said the company is “highly encouraged” by the success of their Portland location and is excited to bring “exceptional cuisine” to the Tigard suburb.
Fogo de Chao will join other restaurants at the mall like California Pizza Kitchen, Hen House, Pastini, Joe’s Burgers and Sinju Sushi. The address is listed as being on the eastern side of the mall next to Marios 3.10 clothing store.
The new location is not yet listed on their website. What Now Portland has reached out to Fogo de Chao for comment, and this article may be updated.
