According to a recent permit filing, 82 Acres will debut in Southeast Portland at 2032 SE Clinton Street.

“82 Acres plans to open in February of this year. 82 Acres is a new neighborhood restaurant in SE Portland from Abbey Road Farm, an 82-acre farm, vineyard, and bed and breakfast in Carlton, Oregon,” a representative told What Now Portland.

“Some example dishes include: Carrot falafel with herbed yogurt and chili crisp, mussel escabeche toast with saffron aioli and fennel, burrata with tomato-jimmy nardello jam, black olives, capers, and garlic, and half roasted chicken with herbed brown butter jus.”

An Instagram post from 82 Acres tells us more: “The new restaurant is named for the acreage at Abbey Road Farm, a working farm, winery and B&B in Carlton where Chef Will Preisch has worked since Holdfast Dining closed in 2020.”

“I’m definitely excited to be in Portland more and catch up with the restaurant scene,” Preisch said in the Instagram post. “It’s always been on my culinary bucket list to run a restaurant with a farm attached.”

“We’re essentially writing the menu for the year now. It’s going to be pure and straightforward food with some modern and contemporary techniques, classic recipes tweaked to appeal to modern tastes.”
