A new bar from the owner of Bistecca Wood Fire Steakhouse is coming to NW Raleigh Street.
Chef and restaurant owner Gabriel Pascuzzi recently submitted a liquor license application for 2175 NW Raleigh Street, Unit 105. This will be Hey Luigi, a companion bar to Bistecca which is set to open around Sept. 24. Renovations are going to be done inside before opening.
The work on the new bar is expected to be quick, according to Pascuzzi. At Bistecca, he was able to flip Bistecca in 10 days and create a new space in February. He and his team are remodeling the former Tip Top Burger Shop restaurant, replacing tiles, painting and adding seating.
There is no menu yet, but it will have an “ambitious cocktail program,” as well as a food menu. It will have Italian themes, similar to his current location. On the menu of Bistecca are seafood appetizers, salads, steaks, chicken and sandwiches.
The listed hours of operation are 3 p.m-10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and 3 p.m.-midnight Friday and Saturday. There will also be outdoor dining with the same hours. Inside, the space can seat 32 and outside will have 25 seats.
Hey Luigi will be at the southeast corner of the building, right next to Feel Good PDX health food restaurant, and near Good Coffee. It is also across from New Seasons Market and Breakside Brewery. While the tentative date of opening is Sept. 24, it is not definite right now.
