According to an article from Hillsboro News Times, Insomnia Coffee Co. aims to debut in Hillsboro’s Reed Crossing at SE Blanton Street.
“We’re excited to open another location of our locally-owned family of coffeeshops in South Hillsboro. We’re hoping to open this Spring to serve our community,” Tyler Geel, the co-owner of Insomnia Coffee Co., told What Now Portland.
The Hillsboro News Times article adds: “Oregon’s cozy coffeehouse chain will soon open its doors at the upcoming Reed’s Crossing Town Center off Blanton Street, planning to pour drinks by April or May if all goes according to plan. The new location marks Insomnia’s seventh shop and its fourth in Hillsboro, joining locations in Tanasbourne, off Baseline Road, and downtown at Third and Main.”
Insomnia Coffee’s LinkedIn page describes the concept further: “At Insomnia Coffee, we are in the business of people. We make our best effort to create a unique place where customers can socialize with each other in a comfortable, relaxing, and familiar environment while enjoying espresso, brewed coffee, loose-leaf teas, and pastries!”
“Insomnia Coffee helps our customers relieve their daily stresses by providing peace of mind through great ambiance, easy access locations, friendly customer service, and products of consistently high quality. We hope that everyone who comes into our cafes feels like it’s a place where they belong.”
When it comes to Reed’s Crossing, according to Gramor Development’s website, “Located in Reed’s Crossing, the largest master-planned community in the state, Reed’s Crossing Town Center is grocery-anchored and will consist of 104,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, fitness and wellness, and retail service opportunities for lease.”
“The project is anchored by Market of Choice, Oregon’s leading specialty grocer. The shopping center is near several Intel campuses, allowing for excellent daytime activity in the center. Reed’s Crossing will consist of nearly 8,000 new homes and 20,000 additional residents to the trade area once complete. Construction began in Fall 2023.”
