According to a recent permit filing, Javier’s Tacos has filed to open a third location in Vancouver at 11115 NE Fourth Plain Boulevard.
A representative of Javier’s Tacos #3 was not able to provide additional commentary upon What Now Portland’s request at this time.
While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, according to Javier’s website, “Here at Javier’s our specialty is bringing you food that tastes like it is straight out of Mexico.”
“Our family-friendly establishments offer something for everyone and you will most likely find a favorite dish that you will come back for, time after time. Our company is family-owned, and we understand that people like fast fresh food, so we will always give our best effort to serve fresh and hot meals within an 8-minute window.”
“Unlike most restaurants that close at night, we are open 24/7. If you ever have a late-night craving for amazing Mexican food, be reassured that we will be open and at your service.”
An article from Oregon Live written back in 2013 states Sofia Orozco and Ernesto Ramirez are behind Javier’s Tacos. “Orozco immigrated from Mexico about 12 years ago and moved to Oregon a year later after her wedding. The couple worked at a relative’s restaurant for about a year before opening their own eatery.”
“The restaurant combines the cuisine of your hole-in-the-wall Mexican place with an environment and layout akin to McDonald’s or Wendy’s. The food, mostly under $5, is a typical assortment of tacos, burritos, and tostadas, although breakfast burritos and huevos are served all day.”
