The breakfast spot on Sandy Boulevard will soon get a sibling in Vancouver.
From a recent statewide application, Javi’s Breakfast Cafe will be opening at 7900 E Mill Plain Boulevard. The second location was initially teased by the owners in November, and it will bring many of the same dishes loyal customers love. According to members of the team, the restaurant is set to open in about three weeks.
“At Javi’s, we pride ourselves on crafting a menu that celebrates the rich and diverse culinary, infusing traditional flavors into classic breakfast dishes,” says the description on their website. The restaurant is open everyday from 7 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Initially opened by Jovany Marcos in May 2023, the menu features morning options with Latin flavors, including the Mexican omelet, chorizo scramble, chilaquiles and their breakfast burrito. Waffles and pancakes are popular sides as well. For lunch, the team serves burgers, sandwiches, salads and soup.
The address is formerly Woody’s Tacos, in the same plaza as Nostra Tavola and Thai House Vancouver. This is on the east side of the city, just south of David Douglas Park.
