With a name like this, a fun spot looks to be in the works for the Parkrose area.

A liquor license application was submitted for Cola’s Peacock Blues & Brews at 11807 NE Sandy Boulevard. This is at the El Yucateco Foodcart. The restaurant  does not yet have social media set up to announce an opening date.

Also at this address are Jojo’s Gyro and Mr. C’s BBQ & Catering. This is all part of an outdoor food cart space open every day of the week. It is just east of Portland International Airport.

Cola’s will have record music, karaoke and video lottery machines. The inside has room for 30 seats and outside there will be 16 seats. The listed hours of operation are everyday 9 a.m.- 2 a.m., with food and alcohol service outside.

This project comes from Roger and LaCola Marcell, locals of Portland. When contacted, neither were available for comment. More information on the project will be released in the near future.
