A new concept, Dorothy’s, is set to open in Southeast Portland, according to a liquor license application filed with the city. Dorothy’s is set to open in a corner space in a small shopping plaza on 3534 SE 52nd Ave., anchored by Midpoint Food and Drink. The space Dorothy’s is set to open in is currently occupied by Jo’s Deli.
According to the liquor license, Dorothy’s is the trade name for Prosperity Entertainment, a company owned by Patrick McGhee. Speaking of entertainment, Dorothy’s will include video lottery machines. Dorothy’s will operate from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m. from Sunday to Wednesday and until 1 a.m. from Thursday to Saturday.
