What sounds like a local government office may be the newest bar and restaurant in the Roseway neighborhood.

A new liquor license application was submitted under the name Parks Department for 7317 NE Sandy Boulevard. This is also the location of the former Bluefin Bar and Grill. As of now, there is no public announcement on progress of the space.

In the application, the listed hours of operation are every day 10 a.m.-2:30 a.m. There will also be live music, with outdoor operating hours. The inside space is set to have room for 60 seats, along with pool tables and video lottery machines.

Right now, there are no listed businesses in the neighboring spaces at the building. Across the street is the Korner Pocket bar, and other restaurants and bars are nearby. It is a close walk to the Roseway neighborhood center.

The owner, Jacob Farrell, also runs a mobile bar service called Jackalope Society around Portland. This offers bartending services with beer, wine and cocktail drinks. The business has been around for over a year.

When What Now Portland reached out to Farrell, he was not available for comment. More information on the project will be released at a later date.
