A pizza restaurant that has been based in the city for over 10 years is adding a third location.
It was recently reported that Pizzeria Otto will be opening at 4025 Mercantile Drive, Suite 100 in Lake Oswego this fall. It follows the pizza restaurant Oven & Shaker announcing shutting down at this same location. The suburb is located just south of downtown Portland.
The last day for Oven & Shaker will be Aug. 10. After this, Pizzeria Otto will move in and create a pizza shop very similar to the other two locations. When speaking on the phone with owner Clark Hale, he told What Now Portland the opening date is up in the air right now.
Pizzeria Otto has two other locations in Portland at 6708 NE Sandy Boulevard and 7122 SE Foster Road. The business serves “Northwest Neapolitan” pizza, made with fresh ingredients like basil, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and light dough. Hale said the menu will be the same as the other two locations.
The building is located just off of Boones Ferry Road and across from Momo Sushi & Grill. This is a commercial area on the west side of the city. Oven & Shaker was open in the city for three years, offering flatbread pizzas, salads and sides.
The hours of operation and opening date will be announced at a later time. For more information, visit pizzeriaotto.com.
