According to a recent permit filing, Sideline Social Lounge aims to debut in the Alberta District at 2622 NE Alberta Street.
Behind Sideline Social Lounge’s liquor license filing is Ferguson Consulting/Publishing LLC. Alongside the LLC is David Ferguson. The permit states that Sideline will offer karaoke, live and recorded music, and a DJ.
David’s website tells us more about him, stating that he is a serial business entrepreneur. Multiple articles are listed on the website, attesting to his range of portfolio. Ferguson was also voted to be the Entrepreneur Of The Year for 2023 by The Worlds Art Foundation Inc.
One of the articles listed comes from Buzzfeed, which states: “Ferguson, a seasoned commercial real estate consultant, recently acquired Joe Browns Carmel Corn retail and wholesale under his Ferguson Consulting/Publishing LLC. umbrella.”
“Ferguson, who was recently acknowledged for his record-breaking sale of a large charter school in NE Portland, says he has “always had a love for popcorn,” and that the acquisition was “one of passion and due diligence.”
The property itself, according to Zillow, was built in 1900. The building consists of 2,600 square feet on a 6,300 square foot lot and is no longer listed for sale.
