The trend of food cart spaces in Portland is continuing as Hollywood Bar & Carts is coming to the city.

It was recently reported by Bridgetown Bites that the new food carts will be coming next spring to 1607 NE 41st Avenue. It will be a single-story space with an outdoor bar and patio. The nine vendors have not yet been announced.

Trevor Salas, owner of Hollywood Bar & Carts, said there has been interest from vendors at the Brooklyn Carreta Bar & Courts, 4534 SE McLoughlin Boulevard, to bring their food over to the new space. The official vendors will be made public in a few months.

“We have a lot of interest, we don’t want to pigeonhole ourselves,” Sales told What Now Portland.

Hollywood Bar & Carts will be across the street from Trader Joe’s in the Hollywood neighborhood. It is near the downtown area of the neighborhood. The company will be breaking ground in September.

“Our food cart pod offers a diverse range of flavors, bringing you the best from around the world,” says the description on their website. It will join the many other food cart pods around the city including Farmhouse Carts, Piedmont Station Food Carts, Hawthorne Asylum and Park the Carts.
