Main Street in Lebanon is continuing to grow as a new restaurant called The Gathering Place is joining Barsideous Brewing.

The owners of the restaurant have announced their concept is opening inside Barsideous Brewing at 644 S Main Street. This is meant to be a family restaurant option with Hawaiian shave ice. The opening is set for sometime in mid-October.

On the menu will be pub-style wings, fresh salads, burgers and wraps, with Hawaiian shave ice being a signature option. According to Bill Bartman with Barsideous Brewing, it will be a different take on the food truck concept as the restaurant will be inside the brewery, rather than a truck parked outside. The plan is for the brewery to lease the kitchen to The Gathering Place.

“This is more than just a restaurant – it’s a place for our community to come together, share meals, and make memories,” said the Facebook post.

Barsideous, and soon The Gathering Place, are next to the historic Kuhn Cinema in downtown Lebanon. It also neighbors O My Bagels and Kristi’s 50’s Cafe. The town is under two hours south of Portland.

The owner’s name is Keonna Reid, who has not yet responded to What Now Portland’s request for comment. More information can be found on their Facebook page.
