According to a recent article from the Portland Eater, Tito’s Taquitos will be opening a third location in Beaverton, located at 12675 SW 1st St.
A representative of Tito’s Taquitos was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Portland’s request.
While an official opening date has yet to be released, according to Tito’s Instagram announcement, the third location will open sometime after the new year.
According to the article from the Portland Eater, “Owner Anthony La Pietra will open a second cart at Breakside Beaverton’s cart pod in early 2024, announcing the news on Instagram on November 21. Tito’s Taquitos currently operates two locations in greater Portland: a food cart in Southwest Portland and a restaurant on Swan Island.”
“But Tito’s will go even further this month before the second cart opens: Pietra will bring Tito’s Taquitos’ full menu southeast on Friday, November 24 with a pop-up at Breakside Brewery’s Milwaukie taproom. In addition to Tito’s hand-rolled taquitos — which are filled with mashed potato and served with toppings like butter garlic shrimp, al pastor-style garbanzo beans, and asada-style mushrooms — diners can order tacos, aguas frescas, and desserts like tres leches cake or Mexican chocolate brownies. The pop-up will run from noon to 6 p.m. and minors are welcome.”
Tito’s Taquitos third location will be a part of the Breakside Beaverton’s Cart Pod, which is also home to Farmer and the Beast, Chubby Bunny, Kudos Gyros, and more. The cart pod location is stated to have been created by Breakside Brewery.
According to an article from New School Beer, “After more than 3 years in the making, Breakside Brewery is finally planning to open phase one of their Beaverton beer garden, food trucks, and public house on Saturday, July 15th, 2023. First reported by the New School in early 2021, Breakside Beaverton is one of our most anticipated new Oregon openings of 2023, and arguably the largest project Breakside has embarked upon since 2016.”
