Too Soon, a new cocktail bar will open soon in the Kerns area, located at 18 NE 28th Avenue, confirmed by its owner Adam Robinson.
“We are still definitely in the concept phase and are carefully curating what Too Soon will look like. Ironically, it’s a bit too soon to give too many details, but we will release more information when we have it about the menu and the opening date timeline,” Robinson told What Now Portland.
Adam will be bringing his experience from the bar he currently owns, Deadshot. Deadshot is described as a cocktail-focused bar in Southeast Portland. The about me section on the company website relays that they are currently open six days a week from 4 pm-midnight, Monday through Saturday, and offers a wide variety of uniquely crafted cocktails. Whether you are stopping in for a quick drink and a snack, or planning on spending the whole night with them, they got you covered.
While Adam made it clear that Too Soon will hold its own concept, and will not be a “Deadshot 2.0,” his experience alongside his partners bring ample years of backing to Too Soon.
Partnering alongside Robinson will be Nicholas Flower, who currently bartends at Deadshot part-time. Robinson relayed that they both spent multiple years in New York City in the bartending scene, only meeting here in the city, with Flower being known for their work at the Teardrop Cocktail Lounge.
