Changes are coming to Vegas Chinese Restaurant on SE Division Street.
A liquor license application was recently submitted for a new name at 12424 SE Division Street, where the current restaurant is located. The new listed name is Zheng Hua Restaurant. When speaking with owner Jian Ma on the phone, she said the restaurant is undergoing remodeling, but there is not a set opening date.
A worker at the business also said the restaurant is going through new ownership, and renovations should be finished in two-to-three months. The space currently has a bar inside along with the restaurant.
On the menu of the current location is rice, noodles, chow mein, chop suey, lo mein and appetizers. There are also lunch specials and combination dinners. It is not confirmed if the menu will undergo changes.
In the license, it is listed the space will have video lottery machines and pool tables. The hours of operation will be 11 a.m.- 9 p.m. every day. Inside the space, there is room for 90 seats.
Also in this plaza is a bar called Maverick Room. It is on the south side of SE Division Street , just outside of the Mill Park neighborhood. This is an area of town with other bars including Rachel’s Bar & Grill.
