According to permits filed with the City of Sacramento, Deluna Dessert Cafe appears to be working on a second location at 5633 Stockton Blvd in the Fruitridge community. Construction is led by Sacramento-based Island Builder and the project is currently awaiting air quality approval.
Owner Jeff Oh confirmed with What Now Sacramento over the phone about the new location and mentioned they’re hoping to open the doors in early fall, as long as there is no holdup in the permitting process. “The landlord approached us with the vacant space,” said Oh on the phone. “It seemed like a good fit.”
Deluna Dessert Cafe currently has its flagship location in Natomas. at 3581 Truxel Rd Ste 1. The cafe serves various boba teas, fruit teas, milk teas, seasonal Bingsoos (Korean shaved ice), and taiyaki soft serve cones. The Fruitridge location will remodel a 1,625-square-foot commercial retail space into a dessert cafe. The space was previously occupied by Sac Town Shirts & Apparel.
Other restaurants and cafes around Fruitridge Shopping Center include Starbucks, Alonzo’s Mexican & American Food, and Happy Garden Sacramento.
