Long-time restaurant industry veterans Priptal Gill and Satlinjit Kaur have signed the lease for a 1,600-square-foot space at 10842 Bear Hollow Drive inside Stone Creek Village in Rancho Cordova. The newly built space will become the future home of Fusion Bistro, an eatery serving Indian-inspired pizza, wings, and Indian entrees. Beers will also be on the menu.
Gill told What Now Sacramento in an email that the operators hope to open the restaurant in November. The owners are working through the necessary licensing process. While a Business Journal article referred to the upcoming eatery as a location for Velly Pizza, Gill clarified that they are not associated with the chain, although their concept and offerings are similar.
Stone Creek Village opened in 2022 and is anchored by a Sprouts market. The center has seen rapid development in the the Zinfandel special planning area it belongs to in recent years. More residential development, including a high density apartment project, is currently in the work in the area as well.
