Antiquité Midtown, the enchanting antique venue tucked inside Midtown Sacramento‘s historic Chatterton Building at 2114 P St, is toying with a juicy idea.
Owners Marci Hoze and Sharon Wilson recently shared that they’re “exploring the possibility” of reopening the fully functional urban “tasting salon.” “From curated wines to small gatherings, we’re imagining a space that blends history, hospitality, and great wine,” wrote the duo on social media.
A peek at the venue’s website offers more clues about what’s in the works: “For years, Antiquité Midtown has been a place where good wine, art, and music meet under one historic roof,” it reads. “We’re not a typical wine shop. Think of it as a cozy Midtown hideaway where each bottle tells a story, and where gatherings (big or small) feel a little more special.”
As they weigh their next steps, Hoze and Wilson are inviting the community to shape the future of the wine bar by filling out a quick survey, sharing what varietals they love and what kinds of experiences they’d like to see.
So if you’re dreaming of a charming Midtown spot to sip and savor among antiques and art, this could be your chance to help bring it back to life.
For now, Antiquité Midtown operates as a whimsical retail haven for antique treasures and collectibles, as well as a stunning venue for weddings, art shows, and live music.
