Crooked Lane Brewing Co., an award-winning brewery and restaurant in Auburn, is expanding to the Sacramento area.
According to the Sacramento Business Journal, the team has spent the past six months scouting sites in west Roseville. Their ideal space would be between 2,000 and 3,000 square feet and include a patio.
Owned by Teresa and Adrian Psuty and Kirt Braun, Crooked Lane has built a loyal following at its flagship location on Grass Valley Highway in Auburn. The 5,000-square-foot facility serves as both the production brewery and taproom, where guests can enjoy a wide selection of craft beers.
As part of the expansion, the team is bringing on a new partner: Steve Hayer, a local beer enthusiast and co-founder of the popular Sacramento Beer Enthusiasts Facebook group. Hayer brings five years of experience from Moksa Brewing Co.’s Rocklin taproom. He also founded Rancho Cordova’s I Can Fight Cancer Brewfest.
“Crooked Lane Brewing Company… is expanding its leadership team and welcoming Steve Hayer as a partner,” ownership shared on social media. “His industry connections, hands-on taproom experience and construction background make him an ideal partner as Crooked Lane expands.”
The new location will serve Crooked Lane’s signature lineup of beers along with guest taps for cider, wine, and kombucha, plus classic pub fare like pizzas and paninis. All brewing operations will remain at the Auburn facility.
The team hopes to secure a site and open the new taproom before the end of 2025. Stay tuned for more details as they finalize their plans.
