A local bakery is expanding to Woodland.

BAD Bakers will soon open its seventh site in a 1,140-square-foot space at 2021 Bronze Star Drive, Suite 400 in the Woodland Gateway retail center, according to an earlier report from the Sacramento Business Journal.

Founded in 2013 by husband-and-wife team Kate and Vincent Tiuseco, BAD Bakers started as a sole Natomas shop. Today, the couple operates several outposts in Sacramento, Roseville, Elk Grove, Folsom, and Santa Ana.

BAD Bakers is known for its inventive breads, donuts, and kronuts, which are available in a variety of fun toppings, including popcorn, chips, s’mores, and banana chips. The eatery also offers savory treats like empanadas, hot dogs, and lumpia.

The Tiusecos have not yet announced an opening date for the new location, so be sure to follow them on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
