A popular sandwich chain is expanding in the Sacramento area.

San Francisco-based Ike’s Love & Sandwiches is planning to open its fourth area location at The UV Center in Campus Commons, according to the Sacramento Business Journal. The 1,400-square-foot shop will be located at 486 Howe Ave, reports the publication.

Founded by Ike Shehadeh in 2007, the fast-growing chain today boasts more than 100 outposts across California, Arizona, Colorado, Louisiana, Nevada, Texas, and Utah. Existing nearby locations can be found in Midtown Sacramento, Davis, and Roseville.

Known for its unique flavors and customizable creations, Ike’s serves hot sandwiches on Dutch Crunch bread, topped with its famous “Dirty Sauce.” The menu includes a wide variety of sandwiches, including meat, vegetarian, vegan, halal, and gluten-free options.

Chief Marketing Officer Robert Lane told What Now Sacramento that the new UV Center location is expected to soft open on August 4, 2025, with a grand opening celebration planned for August 22.

The event will feature a meet-and-greet with Ike, free Ike’s t-shirts, complimentary sandwiches for the first 50 rewards members, a chance to win free sandwiches for a year, and discounted sandwiches throughout the day.
