A Los Altos-based boba chain is continuing its steady expansion across the Sacramento region and beyond.

According to Tespoon‘s website, the brand is opening its sixth local shop in Elk Grove, though an exact address has not yet been announced. Additionally, restaurantnews.com reports that another location is in the works in Rocklin, but further details remain under wraps for now.

Franchisees Ahmed Farag and Hady Abou ElKheir—who already operate three Teaspoon outposts in Folsom, Davis, and Arden-Arcade—are behind the upcoming Elk Grove expansion.

Last year, the duo told ABC10 that they had secured exclusive rights to grow the brand’s presence throughout Greater Sacramento, with plans to open six to seven stores across the area. The Rocklin shop, meanwhile, will be helmed by franchisees Hitesh and Asha Patel.

Founded in 2016, Teaspoon currently operates more than 80 locations nationwide, with a strong presence in California, Texas, and Georgia. Known for its colorful lineup of signature boba beverages, the menu also features Vietnamese coffee and sweet treats like macarons, brownies, and cake slices.

The franchise owners could be reached for comment at the time of publication, so stay tuned for updates as Teaspoon expands to Elk Grove and Rocklin.
