A gourmet cookie company will soon open its second Sacramento site.
Chip Cookies is coming to 2080 Fair Oaks Blvd, Suite 160, according to recently filed city permits. Once it debuts, it will join neighbors Urban Plates and Tasty Dumpling at The Boulevard in Campus Commons.
The franchise was born from a late-night pregnancy craving for gooey, gourmet chocolate chip cookies. In 2016, founders Sean and Sarah Wilson turned that craving into a full-fledged business in Provo, Utah. Since then, Chip Cookies has expanded to more than 30 locations across eight states. The first Sacramento shop opened at Crocker Village in August 2024.
In addition to its signature, award-winning Milk Chocolate Chip, Chip offers a variety of classic and creative combinations, including the Biscoff Chip, Snickerdoodle Chip, and Raspberry White Chocolate Chip. Sweet-toothed customers can snag their favorites by the cookie or in four-, eight-, nine-, or 12-count snack packs.
Originally slated to debut in February 2025, the Fair Oaks Blvd location has hit some delays. However, the franchisees recently told What Now Sacramento that the new shop is on track to open within the next few weeks.
