A local Indian-Italian fusion favorite is expanding to Carmichael.

Dublin-based Desi Pizza Bites is opening a new location in the San Juan Center at 9045 Fair Oaks Blvd, Suite G, according to the company’s website. The fast-casual eatery will take over the former site of Pasquale’s Italian Pizzeria, which shuttered at the end of December 2025.

Franchisee Rajdeep Singh told What Now Sacramento that the Carmichael menu will showcase the brand’s signature lineup, featuring two dozen pizzas ranging from Italian classics like Margherita and BBQ Chicken Supreme to Indian-inspired creations such as Tandoori Chicken and Chilli Paneer.

In addition to pizza, diners can look forward to kababs, wraps, salads, and a spread of shareable snacks, including wings, jalapeño poppers, and desi sticks, plus mini churros to satisfy those with a sweet tooth. The dining room is expected to seat more than 20 guests, said Singh.

Founded in 2024, Desi Pizza Bites currently operates locations in Dublin, Modesto, Tulare, Stockton, South Richmond Hill, Folsom, Tracy, and Fresno, with four additional locations in development. On its website, the chain says it offers “the perfect fusion of Italian craft and Indian spices.”

Singh said the Carmichael space will get a fresh coat of paint and new flooring before opening. He’s currently finalizing permits and plans to announce an official opening date soon.
