In late July, What Now Sacramento reported that Haraz Coffee House was planning a new Sacramento-area location. Now, the chain has revealed an exact address and opening timeline.
Just days after the Roseville café’s August 30 grand opening, operations manager Mohammad Sabatin confirmed that the authentic Yemeni coffee brand will open a second local spot this fall at 194 Blue Ravine Rd in Folsom.
Sabatin told What Now Sacramento that the Folsom coffee shop will be run by franchisee Assad Albaijat, the same local partner who led the Roseville expansion. This development reflects a growing trend, as another Yemeni coffee chain, Sana’a Cafe, is also making moves in the Sacramento area.
Guests can look forward to Haraz’s signature drinks, including the popular Harazi Mufawar (coffee with cardamom and cream) and the spiced Adeni Chai (black tea with signature spices and cream), alongside classic espresso and pour-over coffee.
The menu also features a variety of refreshers and matcha drinks, plus treats such as croissants, brownies, honeycomb bread, and milk cake.
Since its founding in 2021 by CEO Hamzah Nasser, the Dearborn, Michigan-based chain has rapidly expanded to over 30 locations nationwide, with nearly 200 more in the works, winning fans with its rich Yemeni flavors.
The Folsom team is targeting a mid-October debut. For the latest updates, follow Haraz Coffee House on Instagram @hrz.ro.fo.
