A downtown Sacramento favorite is expanding to Curtis Park.

Immortal Café & Supply is opening a second location at 2901 30th St, taking over the former Naked Coffee space. “The rumors are true, we’re opening a second spot!” the team wrote on Instagram. “You’ll find us in Curtis Park with some of our current menu offerings and a helluva lot more wine, evening events and brunch! See y’all early next year ☠️”

Billed as a “neighborhood vegan-esque café for everybody,” Immortal’s original location draws fans with its rich espresso, unique pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and seasonal “sometimes vegan” plates.

Husband and wife co-owners Eric Cockrell and Jess Weddle-Cockrell, who live in Curtis Park, told the Sacramento Business Journal that the move was driven by a growing customer base and the need for expanded food preparation.

The team plans to maintain the café’s familiar charm while introducing more community-focused programming, including weekend brunch, a modest wine program, and evening events centered on food and music.

While the team hasn’t locked in an exact opening date, they’re aiming to debut the Curtis Park location in late spring 2026, pending permitting and some light construction.
