A couple of weeks ago, What Now Sacramento reported that Jack’s Urban Eats could be eyeing West Sacramento for expansion. Now, the local fast-casual favorite has another location on the horizon, this time in Rocklin.
According to Onsite Observer, the chain has signed a lease with Cole Partners Development Company to open a new outpost within the upcoming Whitney Ranch Retail Center, located at the southwest corner of Whitney Ranch Parkway and University Avenue.
The 18-acre center is a joint development between Cole Partners Development Company and Engstrom Properties. The City of Rocklin approved the project in April 2024, and crews broke ground in October.
The center’s eastern side will be anchored by a 44,000-square-foot Nugget Markets location, flanked by a collection of retail shops. The western half is designed for highway-friendly tenants, including banks, drive-thrus, fast food, and gas station pads. Other committed tenants include Poppy Bank and Great Clips.
Jack’s currently operates 11 locations across the Sacramento region, including sites in Natomas, Davis, Elk Grove, Granite Bay, Folsom, and midtown Sacramento. At the eatery, guests can mix and match fresh greens, roasted veggies, and proteins to build their perfect plate. The menu also features hearty sandwiches, carved-to-order meats, and a variety of sides.
While an official opening date hasn’t been announced, the Whitney Ranch Retail Center is expected to debut sometime in 2026.
