Knee Deep Brewing Company is expanding to Folsom‘s Broadstone Plaza with a second location, Knee Deep Brewing Taphouse & Grill. The 3,991-square-foot space at 2793 E Bidwell St, Suite 100 was formerly home to Round Table Pizza, which vacated the space two years ago.
Founded in 2010, the family-owned and family-friendly brewery operates out of a 37,000-square-foot facility in Auburn, where it produces a range of popular craft beers, including ales, porters, stouts, and sours.
Knee Deep recently posted a social media update unveiling a trio of Folsom-inspired brews: Folsom Haze, a smooth and juicy hazy IPA inspired by the beauty of Folsom Lake; Broadstone Plaza, a bold and juicy double hazy IPA; and Prison Blues, a dry Irish stout with rich notes of coffee, dark chocolate, and smoke—a tribute to Johnny Cash’s legendary Folsom Prison performance.
Beyond its craft beers, the new taphouse will offer a food menu featuring pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, and more, according to an earlier report from Folsom Times.
CEO Jerry Moore could not immediately be reached for comment, and an opening date has yet to be announced. For updates, follow Knee Deep Brewing Company on Facebook and Instagram.
