The operators of Lincoln’s Kobe Teppanyaki & Sushi are bringing a new concept to the heart of Sacramento.
The team recently purchased the retail and entertainment building at 1000 K Street in downtown Sacramento for $5.125 million, reports the Sacramento Business Journal. The 32,000-square-foot property features four to five restaurant spaces, and the group plans to launch an Asian-themed eatery in the building’s main restaurant space.
“Anchored by some of Downtown’s most visited restaurants and nightlife destinations—including Oishii Sushi, Boiling Crab, Social Nightclub, and a vacant turnkey restaurant on the corner—1000 K Street sits at ground zero of Sacramento’s entertainment, hospitality, and cultural energy,” wrote Scott Kingston, Senior Vice President at Turton Commercial Real Estate, in an Instagram post announcing the news.
While the name and full concept details are still under wraps, diners can likely expect offerings similar to Kobe Teppanyaki & Sushi, which serves a variety of Japanese fare, including sushi and teppanyaki cooked tableside.
The upcoming restaurant is expected to open sometime in 2026, according to Kingston. Ling Lin, who operates the Lincoln eatery, has not yet responded to requests for comment from What Now Sacramento, so stay tuned for updates.
