A local food truck specializing in Nashville-style hot chicken will replace a burger joint in Rancho Cordova. Chick’s 500 Degrees is filling up the approximately 2,000-square-foot Suite 100 in the Sunridge Plaza at 4040 Sunrise Blvd. This news was first seen in the Sacramento Business Journal.
“From humble beginnings in our food truck to dreaming bigger than ever! Chicks 500 Degrees is proud to announce we’re moving to a brick-and-mortar location in Rancho Cordova,” the business announced on an Instagram alongside some work-in-progress pictures showing the new interior. Based on the post, it looks like the counters, seating, and new wall art have been completed.
Chick’s 500 Degrees offer chicken tenders and sliders with various customizable heat levels. The menu also includes wraps, chicken bites, loaded fries and macaroni and cheese. While a grand opening date is not available yet, the company’s website has started the hiring process. That said, Rancho Cordova locals may expect some delicious locally-made hot chicken very soon.
Registration records suggest that the food truck’s owner is Oleg Muradyan, a Rancho Cordova local. What Now Sacramento reached out to Muradyan for comments but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage.
