A premier virtual-reality lounge is gearing up to make its debut in Rocklin.
Nexus Lounge & VR is currently under construction in a 6,400-square-foot space at 6661 Blue Oaks Blvd, Suite 1. A page on the Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce website indicates that the project comes from local realtor Sunit Brar and Inderjeet Brar.
“Our goal is to blend immersive technology with an elevated social experience so groups, families, and young professionals have a new kind of place to gather,” Sunit told What Now Sacramento. “We want to make VR approachable and social, even for first-timers.”
The lounge will feature a wide lineup of high-tech VR experiences, including free-roam multiplayer arena games, immersive escape rooms, and multi-dimensional motion simulators. Guests will also find a dedicated events area with private-party packages, customizable food and beverage options, and a party host to keep the fun running smoothly.
In addition to its gaming attractions, Nexus plans to offer a café-style space where visitors can refuel between sessions. The online menu lists hearty panini sandwiches like Roast Beef & Provolone, Caprese on Ciabatta, and Grilled Veggie & Hummus, plus snacks, shareable sides, and drinks ranging from coffee and tea to soda and lemonade.
“Our focus is on quality ingredients, fast service, and items that support both casual snacking and longer stays with friends or coworkers,” Sunit explained.
The Brars also plan to introduce a beer and wine program with rotating selections, though this will roll out in a later phase once all licensing and approvals are in place.
Nexus describes itself as “not a bar” and “not an arcade,” but rather a “new kind of venue” blending luxury, technology, and connection.
The team says they’re in the final stages of tenant improvements and city approvals. While an exact date hasn’t been announced, they hope to open before the end of December 2025, with more specific timing to come as construction progresses.
