Melty Way is a Utah-based fast-casual restaurant chain offering a variety of gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. Their traditional Four Cheese Classic features a blend of sharp provolone, fontina, havarti, and sharp cheddar. The menu also includes innovative flavor combinations such as chicken avocado, turkey bacon, ham and Swiss, short rib melt sandwiches, etc. The chain is also known for its various homemade dipping sauces. Other menu items include macaroni and cheese bites, soups and salads, fries and desserts, ice cream sandwiches, and root beer float. The chain only started franchising about two years ago but already has expansion plans for various locations in Utah and other states.
The Sacramento Melty Way is operated by franchisee Jason Miller, who leased the Howe Avenue space in August. Miller is currently an assistant professor in construction management at California State University-Sacramento. Once the Sacramento location opens, Miller intends on adding at least two more locations in the upcoming years, potentially aiming at Elk Grove, Roseville, Natomas, Citrus Heights, and Fair Oaks.
By the time of this coverage, Miller had not responded to What Now Sacramento‘s request for comments.
