Mendocino Farms is on a fast growth track for the next few years. After confirming a new location in the Davis Collection, it appears the chain will also be joining The Village in Elk Grove alongside Yard House. Mendocino Farms also recently opened its fifth restaurant in Arden Arcade. The development is anticipated to complete around mid-2025.
Mendocino Farms has signed a lease for a 2,700-square-foot space at The Village. The chain opened in 2005 as a family-owned business and quickly expanded. Nowadays, the chain also operates stores in Folsom, Land Park, Midtown Sacramento, and Roseville. The menu focuses on gourmet sandwiches and healthy salads but also has various deli sides and soups. It also features a tasty beverage menu consisting of various lemonades and teas.
The Village in Elk Grove is located at the southwest corner of Elk Grove and Big Horn boulevards. The 15-acre development contains 111,150 square feet of retail space and is expected to include six stand-alone retail/restaurant pads and a strip center with five suites anchored by a grocer. According to Pappas Investments, most of the other spaces have received letters of intent from interested tenants.
