It looks like Haraz Coffee House’s Sacramento-area growth spurt isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
The Michigan-based Yemeni coffee chain is preparing to open a new location at 3642 N Freeway Blvd, Suite 200 in Natomas, according to a recently filed Commercial Remodel permit. The 2,389-square-foot space is set to undergo renovations.
The Natomas news follows a wave of recent expansion announcements. Back in October, Mayer Zahid, who oversees franchise site development for Haraz Coffee House across Northern California and Nevada, told What Now Sacramento that he and two partners were opening a new outpost in Arden-Arcade. At the time, Zahid also shared that he was helping guide future franchisees eyeing locations in Folsom, Davis, Elk Grove, and beyond.
Haraz Coffee House made its Sacramento-area debut earlier this year, opening its first local café in Roseville in August. Since then, the brand has been steadily building momentum, positioning itself as a major player in the region’s specialty coffee scene.
The chain is known for its Yemeni-style coffee drinks such as qishr—a lightly spiced brew made from coffee husks—as well as Adeni chai, espresso-based beverages, and a lineup of specialty lattes. Many locations also feature pastries and light bites.
What Now Sacramento has reached out to company representatives for additional details, including a projected opening timeline, and will update this page as more information becomes available.
